ITINERARY

Day 1: Manali Arrival

Your journey begins with your arrival in Manali, the hub of North Indian tourism. To get the most out of your first day, check into your stay and head straight to the banks of the Beas River to soak in the mountain air. Spend your evening strolling through the local markets to pick up authentic handicrafts and enjoy the vibrant cafe culture of Old Manali.

Day 2: The Snow Point Adventure

Order of Visit: Gulaba & Marhi → Rohtang Pass → Gramphu & Koksar → Sissu Lake & Waterfall → Atal Tunnel → Solang Valley & Anjani Mahadev → Vashisht Village.

To make the most of this day, start very early to beat the traffic and secure your time in the snow.

Scenic Ascent to Rohtang Pass (Via Gulaba & Marhi) Request your driver to take the traditional, scenic route via Gulaba and Marhi to reach Rohtang Pass. While many drivers prefer the faster Atal Tunnel route through Koksar or Gramphu, the Gulaba-Marhi climb offers far superior mountain vistas and iconic hair-pin bends that are essential to the Rohtang experience. Spend time at the pass (13,058 ft) enjoying the high-altitude views and snow activities.

Lahaul Valley Exploration (Via Gramphu & Koksar) After descending from Rohtang, continue toward Gramphu and Koksar to enter the Lahaul Valley. Your destination is Sissu, where you can explore the serene Sissu Lake. For those seeking more adventure, a trek toward the powerful Sissu Waterfall is highly recommended for a closer look at the rugged terrain.

Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley Transitions Return toward Manali by driving through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel. Your next stop is Solang Valley, famous for its meadows and adventure sports. If visiting in summer when snow is scarce here, you can enjoy the lush green slopes, participate in zorbing or paragliding, or take a peaceful trek to the Anjani Mahadev Temple, known for its natural Shivaling.

Evening Relaxation at Vashisht End your long day of exploration at Vashisht Village. Visit the ancient Vashisht Temple and unwind by soaking in the natural hot water springs. The therapeutic sulfur water is the perfect way to relax your muscles after a day of high-altitude travel and trekking before heading back to your stay.

Note: Access to Rohtang Pass is strictly subject to weather conditions and government availability; you must confirm if the pass is open and ensure you have obtained the mandatory NGT permit to visit. If the pass is closed, do not worry, as you will then take the single alternative route through the Atal Tunnel to visit the remaining destinations.

Day 3: Manali Cultural Exploration & Old Manali Vibe

Order of Visit: Hadimba Devi Temple → Khatu Shyam Temple → Van Vihar → Old Manali (Manu Temple & Club House) → Riverside Cafe Exploration – Manali Mall Road

Begin at the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple in the cedar forest, followed by a visit to the nearby Khatu Shyam Temple (optional). Next, enjoy a calm walk through Van Vihar before crossing into Old Manali to visit Manu Temple and the Club House. The best way to experience this area is on foot, exploring unique boutiques and the famous riverside cafe vibe, which is ideal for backpackers and groups of friends. After exploring all the above places, spend your evening enjoying the bustling energy of the Manali Mall Road.

Day 4: Manali to Kasol & Parvati Valley Experience

Order of Visit: Naggar Castle → Jana Waterfall (Optional) → Kullu Valley (Shopping & Activities) → River Rafting/Paragliding → Kasol Riverside Camping.

Day 4 of your Kullu Manali Kasol Jibhi tour package covers approximately 80 km as you transition from Manali to the hippie haven of Kasol. Begin your journey with a stop at the historic Naggar Castle, a stunning stone-and-wood structure offering panoramic views of the Kullu Valley. If you have extra time, you can take a small detour to the Jana Waterfall for a traditional Himachali lunch amidst the woods. As you drive further into the Kullu Valley, make a stop for handicraft shopping; the region is famous for its authentic shawl factories and local shops selling premium dry fruits and nuts.

For those seeking an adrenaline rush, this stretch is the perfect place to experience river rafting on the Beas River or paragliding over the valley’s lush slopes. By evening, you will reach Kasol, where the highlights of the experience are the riverside camping, cozy bonfires, and curated music, which have made this destination world-famous. Relax under the stars by the Parvati River and soak in the unique atmosphere that defines the Kasol experience.

Day 5: Kasol and Transition to Shangarh

Order of Visit: Manikaran Sahib → Chalal/Tosh Exploration → Journey to Shangarh → Shangarh Meadows.

Day 5 of your Kullu Manali Kasol Jibhi tour package begins with a visit to the sacred Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, famous for its natural hot springs and spiritual significance. Afterward, you can enjoy the local vibe of Kasol with a short hike to Chalal village.  After exploring the Parvati Valley, you will begin a roughly 70 km journey to the serene Shangarh in the Sainj Valley. Spend your evening relaxing in the legendary Shangarh Meadows, surrounded by pine forests and tranquility.

Note: If you are seeking a deeper offbeat experience, you can venture further to Tosh Valley or plan for the Malana or Kheerganga treks, though these typically require additional days to complete.

Day 6: Shangarh Meadows to Tirthan Riverside

Order of Visit: Shangarh Meadows → Local Temple → Shangarh Waterfall (Optional) → Journey to Tirthan Valley.

Spend your morning absorbing the beauty of the Shangarh Meadows and exploring the local wooden temples that showcase unique Himachali architecture. For those who enjoy hiking, an optional trek to the Shangarh Waterfall offers a refreshing escape into nature. In the afternoon, you will transition to the Tirthan Valley, known for its crystal-clear river and peaceful environment. Your evening will be spent at a riverside camp or hotel, where you can enjoy the sound of the flowing Tirthan River.

Another excellent option for today is if you have  time then the Chhoie Waterfall trek, a refreshing 4 km round-trip hike that leads to a stunning hidden cascade nestled in the lush greenery.

Day 7: The Jalori Pass Adventure and Jibhi Exploration

Order of Visit: Jalori Pass → Saryolsar Lake/Raghuwar Fort (Optional) → Shoja Village → Mini Thailand → Jibhi Waterfall → Shringa Rishi Ji Temple.

Start your drive from Tirthan Valley early (around 8 AM) to beat the afternoon clouds and ensure ample time for exploring the pass’s surroundings. The pass itself features the ancient Mahakali Temple at its summit. From this base, you have two primary trekking options:

Option A: Serolsar Lake Trek (Easy to Moderate) This is a 6 km one-way forest walk that takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. The trail is mostly well-defined and relatively flat, winding through dense canopies of deodar cedars, blue pines, and kharshoo oaks. At the end of the trail lies the serene Serolsar Lake, home to the Budhi Nagin Temple, a site of deep local spiritual significance.

Option B: Raghuwar (Raghupur) Fort Trek (Moderate to Challenging)

For those seeking a steeper climb, this 3 km uphill trek takes about 1 to 2 hours through beautiful oak and rhododendron forests. While only stone ruins remain of the 1,500-year-old fort, it offers a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the Great Himalayan, Dhauladhar, and Kinnaur ranges.

Afternoon: Scenic Descent to Jibhi

As you descend from Jalori Pass toward your night stay in Jibhi, make the following stops:

  • Shoja Village: Located just 30 minutes from Jibhi, this small village is famous for its apple orchards and sweeping views of the Banjar Valley.

  • Mini Thailand: A unique spot near the Jibhi River featuring natural rock pools and smooth stone formations that resemble tropical landscapes.

  • Jibhi Waterfall: A pretty, small cascade accessible via a short 15–20 minute walk through a lush forest trail.

  • Shringa Rishi Temple: A striking multi-story tower-style temple built without cement or steel, showcasing masterful local craftsmanship.

Evening: Jibhi Stay or Delhi Departure

Relax at a cozy homestay in Jibhi to soak in the valley’s quiet charm.

Note: For those on a tight schedule, you can head to Aut by evening to catch an overnight luxury Volvo bus back to Delhi.Stargazer’s Tip: If you choose to camp overnight at Raghuwar Fort, the lack of artificial light makes it one of the best spots in the region for stargazing and night photography.

Day 8: Jibhi to Home

On the final day of your Kullu Manali Kasol Jibhi tour package, take the morning to complete any remaining Jibhi sightseeing you may have missed. This is your chance to revisit the Jibhi Waterfall for a peaceful morning walk or you can also explore the local Jibhi market to pick up unique Himalayan souvenirs or visit any nearby traditional wooden guest houses to admire the local architecture one last time and then can visit Shringa Rishi Temple A striking multi-story tower-style temple built without cement or steel, showcasing masterful local craftsmanship.

Once you have fully explored the hidden gems of the valley, begin your return journey. You will head back towards Aut, where you can conclude your trip or board an overnight luxury Volvo bus for your onward journey to Delhi, carrying with you the complete experience of the Himachal offbeat circuit.
